Fearless Books Collection

Located in the main office, “Fearless Books” is a collection at the Sarah Doyle Center (SDC) in memory of Laura Julietta Hirschfeld Mulley (1976-2015), who worked as the Coordinator for the Sarah Doyle and LGBTQ Centers from 2009-2012.

Tattooed letters spelling the word "Fearless" graced Laura's knuckles, signifying her character, perseverance, and heart. This collection revolves around queer studies, food, poetry, music, art, and popular culture — all things Laura loved. Titles range from Love and Rockets comics, Sister Spit by Michelle Tea, Radical Love by Patrick S. Chang, and poetry by Patti Smith.
